A new casting call for AMC’s “The Walking Dead” has come to light (via SpoilingDeadFans) and it sounds an awful lot like leader of “the Saviors” Negan.

The role in question is for a “physically imposing, charismatic, brutal, smart, ferocious, frightening, hilarious, inappropriate, oddly friendly, fun loving sociopath,” the casting call is under the name “Orin,” perhaps to keep spoilers to a minimum, something the show has had problems with in the past.

Negan, and recently cast Jesus, are major players in the comic book series Alexandria storylines. It was announced yesterday that Tom Payne will be be playing the aforementioned Jesus and it would make sense for the Negan casting to follow closely behind.

“It’s absolutely a possibility,” showrunner Scott M. Gimple said of Negan’s arrival on the TV series . ”And when I say it’s a possibility, we have a plan in place, but there’s a couple variables for that plan that we’re deciding about. It really depends on a few factors as we move into setting up the last bit of the season story-wise.”

The show’s sixth season will premiere October 11th on AMC, and October 12th on FOX (UK) on these shores.
