News on Guillermo del Toro’s Justice League Dark Movie, “Dark Justice”

News from WonderCon regarding Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming Justice League Dark film entitled ‘Dark Justice’.

Del Toro has confirmed that the lead character of the film will indeed be a blonde John Constantine, although he didn’t confirm whether the character would be British or not. We can only hope, right?

He also confirmed that the film would feature Swamp Thing, Deadman and Etrigan with Constantine “basically trying to recruit these guys”. He also added that “on Etrigan, I’m using Jason Blood in the time of Merlin. We find out at the top that each have a mystery to solve. Swamp Thing is at peace with who he is, but Deadman needs to figure out who shot him. It’s all woven in. Growing up, my two favourite characters were Etrigan and Swamp Thing, so I’m in heaven.”

This is pretty damn great news, and we definitely can’t wait to hear more details as they’re announced.
