So it has been stated that DC will be releasing a stand alone series about the relationship between Superman and Wonder Woman in October.

All that is running through my head is, Why?

I can’t help but think that this is just to either make more money off of Superman, or to make more of a mockery of Wonder Woman. Sorry, but it’s how I feel right now. It’s going to be full of very out of character phrases and more of Wonder Woman confessing how much she needs Superman.

It’s drawn by Tony Daniel so is going to look beautiful, but I’m just scared that I’m going to just see that as the only good part of it. I just can’t hack Superman and Wonder Woman together, and I think that it’s just going to be a strange storyline of their romance with nothing really happening at all in it.

I’m going to give it a chance, but I’ll no doubt have another rant in October about how it’s idiotic, so stay tuned for that.
