Samii’s Thought of the Week: Exceeding Expectations.

With all the movies and new releases being announced at SDCC, it seems like we are in for a busy calender for releases. From Guardians of the Galaxy to Avengers: Age of Ultron, we are going to see a lot of interesting and exciting movies hitting the big screen. I was watching Iron Man again after a while of it being in my DVD collection and this got me thinking about the movies of the past that I wasn’t too sure about but I really loved after I finally seen it.

iron-man-posterIron Man was one of the movies that took me a very long time to actually get round to watch. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t even on DVD that I seen it, it was on the TV. I had never seen the appeal of him until I seen it one night on TV and thought, “Why not.” I loved it, from Robert Downey Jr.’s acting as Tony Stark, to the actual plot, it was excellent. Not to mention the one liners. You can’t beat one liners.

Having seen the teaser photos from the set and the way Andrew Garfield was in the suit and acting as Peter, it calmed me down a lot as he seemed to fit the role well. When I came out the cinema after seeing it, I had a sigh of relief, it was a really good movie.

I could go on with many other movies, but this is where I need you guys help!

What movies are you looking forward to but are a little nervous about? Or has this happened to you in the past? What movies exceeded your expectations and you have now grown to love?

Let me know in the comments, and have a lovely rest of the week!
