Well where the hell do i start with this one?! IBH is what would happen if there was an all ages HB book and i have to say, it hits every mark! The art is somewhere between Skottie Young and Jamie Smart which fits the light comedy nicely but doesn’t make it come across preschool. With the usual humour expected from an all ages, I’m happy to report that this big kid also liked the not so subtle “for the adults” jokes and I don’t care if it was totally coincidental and has nothing to do with us, “can you make my comic bigger” is totally about us, right?

The book is broken down into smaller stories that all tie into the bigger narrative, so could be read in smaller chunks for those with smaller attention spans or *ahem* toilet read(?) but the thought of a pyrokinetic enjoying herself in hell oddly seems to make sense?

With the recent announcement that Dark Horse may be making more Itty Bitty stories and with this being anything to go by, the IBHB series could be an interesting inclusion to the all ages genre with no capes and cowls. and i don’t think that’s a bad thing!

Rating: 7/10.
