Agents of Shield Has Taken a Break for the Holidays But See What Life Like With Clearance Level: 1
We were recently in contact with Eric Michael Espiritu a California based actor, Eric also makes skits through his Youtube Channel. One of his latest centres around the premise that not everyone within the framework of MCU/TV’s Agent’s of S.H.I.E.L.D starts of with a Clearance Level: 7 or indeed faces explosions and Avengers everyday. Rather the sketch takes a lighthearted poke at the sometimes takes-itself-too-serious world in which S.H.I.E.L.D is set.
We got chatting with Eric about the video and here is what he had to say;
On the idea behind the skit.
I’ve enjoyed watching the show “Agents of SHIELD” and one thing about this show that differs from anything else I’ve watched from the Marvel Universe is that after watching the very first episode, I was inspired to write out a little parody of the show. What I came up with was a concept of what goes on with “Clearance Level 1 agents?” I wanted to make “Level 1” the scrubs of SHIELD. So I wrote out a short script, got some of my friends together and made this little parody with no budget whatsoever. This whole project was a blast to do and it took about one month to put it all together.
On pulling the sketch together.
I had a great cast which includes in addition to myself, Josh Sussman, who is best known for his roles on “Glee” and “Wizards of Waverly Place,” Bree Essrig, a popular YouTube personality who has over 200,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel, Chase Green, who also edited the video, Tess Hunt, who provided us with the location to shoot in, and Anthony Ma, who also helped out with sound. The amazing DP I had to shoot this for me was Joe Alimagno. All of these are very talented individuals and I encourage you to check out all of them and hope that you enjoy the video.
If you like Eric’s video then show him a little love on Twitter or Youtube on the links provided through out the article as he said would be inclined to make more should they get a decent response.
