One of the more interesting tidbits coming out of Marvel’s April 2014 solicitations was the reveal of Daredevil .50, a special one-off supersized issue to be released as part of the character’s 50th Anniversary.

The issue – written by Mark Waid and illustrated by Javier Rodriguez – will take us into the future for Matt Murdock’s 50th birthday, promising teasers at the upcoming stories planned for 2014 and, most excitingly, stories by special guest creators from Daredevil’s past.  And looking at the names on the released cover, I can only cross my fingers and hope that some of the iconic creators (Brubaer? Bendis? Miller??) who have helped build the character’s legacy over the years make an appearance.
