Attack on Titans of the Galaxy or Wrasslin with Deadpool!
I’m sleepy and Running late with this weeks edition of Stuff and Things (sorry 5 folk who read it) so I’ll make this one snappy and get on with the show…..blog…..thing.
Promotion for Marvels Guardians of the Galaxy unofficially kicks off this week as “The Animal” Dave “Batista” Bautista returns to the WWE just in time for the annual Royal Rumble event. For those of you living under a rock, Batista will be appearing on the big screen this summer as Drax the Destroyer in Guardians of the Galaxy. With the information that he’s signed a full time contract with the WWE expect a strong showing from the Animal (and a likely title reign) come summertime when GOTG is due to drop in cinemas. The dudes the perfect casting choice (Seriously just look at him….LOOK AT HIM!) and will be a welcome return to action in the ring.
Speaking of wrestling….
This is Daniel Bryan. Anyone who watched WWE Raw on Monday (13th January) will no doubt have marked the f*ck out the same way I did when he pulled off that epic storyline swerve. 2014 will be the year of YES! YES! YES!
My copy of Night of the Living Deadpool arrived in the mail on Saturday (hence the late review coming soon on my part) and It totally lived up to my expectations, I don’t wanna say much here seeing as Im reviewing it but Deadpools reaction to the empty streets of the apocalypse was priceless.
Finally this week, I have just started watching Attack on Titan and the hype train this show/manga has been riding is well deserved. Holy Moses is this show addictive, I’ve managed to rattle 17 episodes in 2 nights. One of the first anime series to capture my attention in what feels like ages. Theres giants, Bigger giants, Awesome swordplay, Plot twists, Bonkers set pieces AND a truly gripping storyline. Definately worth checking out. I haven’t read the mangas yet, Any fans on the page?
Thats all for this week but before I wrap up I’d like to give a special shout out to Samii Morton who, due to an overwhelming workload has had to bow out of Bigcomicpage.com to focus on getting her Masters degree. Indeed it seems WWE have finally caught on to the fact he’s not gonna go away any time soon and if rumour is to be believed, The Undertaker has requested DB to be his opponent at Wrestlemania this year :D My review of NOTLD is up now on the site as well if you wanna check it out dude :) (J)
