GotG News and more crazy DCMU rumors!
Evening folks, Quick wee roundup of some interesting movie news and a dash of wild internet speculation to get you all wound up.
First up though, THE NEWS!
The Superbowl is soon upon us and we’ve had confirmation that in addition to a brand new trailer for The Winter Soldier, We’ll also be getting our first look at Guardians of the Galaxy!
Now living in the UK we miss out on all the big budget Superbowl commercials usually but thankfully the internet exists and we’ll be sure to fire up all the latest trailers when they become available. Also confirmed for the Superbowl are Spider-Man 2, Transformers 4 and Need For Speed. While on the Subject of Guardians though, theres word flying around that Stan Lee won’t be making a cameo in this one.
Josh Holloway made some comments regarding his connection to Aquaman in the upcoming MOS2/Batman v Superman/Justice League movie. In an interview with IGN he stated.
“It hasn’t been brought to my attention by my people. Maybe they’re just floating it softly around, but that would be cool! Sure, I think I’m available at the moment as we just wrapped up. I’m an actor, I like different roles. Batman movies are awesome, Marvel movies are awesome. But we’ll see, I’m on a series right now. I think they usually want to sign you up for several movies and I don’t know if you can do that when you’re committed to a series…”
We’ll keep you posted on this one.
Finally, Make sure you have a big old bag of salt for this one because I’m sure you’ll need more than a pinch of it for this rumour.
Latino review have said they have a “source” who was fired from the art department and posted this list of POSSIBLE SPOILERS… BUT PROBABLY NOT! on a gaming forum on Reddit.
Like I said this is possibly BUT NOT VERY LIKELY a SPOILER for the movie so take it with a massive scoop of salt. At the very least it should generate some interesting conversation and we all love some bonkers rumours right?

He’s there because the world engine in the ocean did something to the fish – Wonderwoman poses as a Wayne Enterprises investor to retrieve an item that belongs to her people. – Lex Luthor is in the shadows a lot, a manipulator. Not much face time with Superman. – Robin betrayed Batman at some point, leading to a falling out between them – The Batcave was super cool looking, and the mobile looked similar to Burton’s – Lois is investigating Lex. – Metallo “kills” Clark – The Daily Planet is bought by Lex Luthor for PR purposes – At the end Superman is living in exile, and the Justice League is an government approved superhero team. |
