Marvel Studios: Assembling a Universe

documentary special2015 is going to be a huge year for movies, so SDCC 2014 should be packed with franchise news displaying teasers, trailers, and new footage. But arguably the most anticipated film of 2015 – Marvel’s Avengers: The Age of Ultron – is getting a head start with a sneak peek next month as part of a television special.

ABC will be airing “Marvel Studios: Assembling a Universe” on Tuesday, March 18 at 8/7c. The documentary will provide an in-depth look at the making of the Phase One films & the Marvel’s One-Shots. It will also feature exclusive interviews and new footage from the upcoming films Captain America: The Winter Soldier and The Guardians of the Galaxy. In addition to the films, the broadcast will also examine Marvel’s venture into television with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

The Age of Ultron started filming two weeks ago in Africa, but it’s unclear just how far along the highly anticipated sequel is. I’m hoping this documentary reveals Joss Whedon’s rendition of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch as well as Vision and – of course – Ultron himself.

What are you hoping to see in this documentary? Which Marvel project are you most excited for?
