New details and screenshots for ‘Arkham Knight’

Here’s some interesting news. It seems the ‘Arkham Knight’ may not actually be Batman…

Speaking to Game Informer, Sefton Hill, the game’s director has said:

“We hadn’t in the previous games introduced someone new to the universe. We wanted to introduce someone who could really challenge Batman to go head to head with him in lots of different ways. We’re not talking about those ways just yet but this guy is definitely a formidable foe for Batman.”

Interesting enough, right? But then gamer website ConsoleLife posted this picture. According to the site, this is the character ‘Arkham Knight’:

That certainly doesn’t look like the batsuit from the game trailer, or from the screenshots, so it may be safe to assume this isn’t Batman, but indeed the new character in question.

A whole bunch of screenshots have also surfaced online to whet your appetites. You’ll recognise some of these from the recent trailer, but we also get a look at a few other characters like Riddler, Oracle, and Jim Gordon:

‘Batman: Arkham Knight’ is due to launch on October 14th on PS4, Xbox One, and Windows.
