‘Superman vs. Batman’ Adds Super Trio To Ensemble

It just isn’t a normal week without more Superman vs. Batman news as of late and this week is no different, As news broke that three familiar faces have been added to the cast in the shapes of Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey and Tao Okamoto.

The individual roles that they will assume remain unclear at this point, We will leave the speculation to you but here is what we can  tell you…

Holly Hunter – Perhaps the most high profile of the castings, The seasoned actress cut her teeth in early Coen Brothers movies such as Raising Arizona and Blood Simple. Very versatile in terms of roles she has played though has a slight tendency to play Southern characters frequently. As with the other actors mentioned, She has previous geek cred owed to being Mrs.Incredible in The Fantastic Four Disney Pixar’s “Incredibles”.

Her 2004 Incredibles character.

Tao Okamoto – The Japanese actress has the smallest body of work of the three, Transitioned more fully to being an actress after starring in last years “The Wolverine” as Mariko.

Will her nationality reflect that of her character’s?

As Mariko

And Finally there is Callan Mulvey, The New Zealand actor made a name for himself Down Under starring in TV shows like Underbelly and Home and Away. More recently he has had a number of respectable roles in the likes of Zero Dark Thirty and this year playing a S.T.R.I.K.E Agent in Captain America and Scyllias in 300: Rise of an Empire (Written by Zack Snyder). Interestingly enough was previously linked to Superman vs. Batman with speculation online pegging him as a villain, Though it was heavily speculated to be Lex Luthor we now know this isn’t the case.

Could he be Lex Luthor’s muscle in the flick?

I Guess we will find out on May 6th 2016 what the as yet unnamed ‘Superman vs. Batman’ movie is released.
