How many 10 year olds can say they’ve written a comic that’s been published by a major comic publisher? Not only can Malachai Nicolle say that, but it can just be added to the list. This time we follow Axe Cop as he forms “The American Choppers”, the worlds newest superhero group.

Everything about this book is axe choppingly awesome. From the way that Malachai’s writing is kept to be exactly the way that a 10 year old would write, to the awesome ideas that can be found on almost every page of the book (we can all agree we want Capain Axe’s R.V., right?). It’s a strange thing as well; anyone that’s been following Axe Cop knows that it was made into an animated series, where AC is voiced by the one and only Nick Offerman, and I can’t help but read everything in this book in his voice, it’s just so damn perfect!

Ethan Nicolle (age 33) deserves to take a bow as well. While the art on the book might not be perfect, it’s a perfect fit for this particular book, and his Giant T-Rex is nothing short of amazing. I want one.

While not one for everyone, it’s definitely one for everyone with a sense of humour – not to mention fans of Adult Swim – as it has a very “this is actually for adults, but we’re pretty sure kids will enjoy it as well” feel to it. Go buy this book, go on, tell them we sent you or I’ll find you with my axe.

Rating: 4/5.
