Eva Green’s Sin City poster too risqué for the MPAA
According to Deadline, the latest poster for Sin City: A Dame To Kill For has earned the ire of the MPAA, the Hollywood Studios trade group.
The poster, featuring Eva Green, landed in hot water “for nudity — curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown.”
Dimension Films declined to comment on the reaction, although they did confirm that the poster was to be “reworked”.
So, what do you guys think? Overreaction on the MPAA’s part? Justified concern? Or maybe you feel the whole thing is a cynical ploy by the filmmakers to court a little controversy? There’s no such thing as bad press, after all, right?
