Pictures have finally surfaced of 76040: Brainiac Attack, the fifth and final DC Super Heroes set in Lego’s upcoming January 2015 wave.

From the set size, and minifig count, Id guess the set will retail somewhere in the £20 – £25 range. The set is worth looking out for based on the minifigs alone, as Brainiac, Martian Manhunter, and Supergirl are new figures. A Manhunter fig was previously released as a Lego Shop@Home exclusive, and featured detailed leg and torso printing, which the figure in this set is sadly lacking.

Lego also revealed packaging for the home release of the animated feature ‘LEGO Justice League vs Bizarro League’, due out on February 10th. As is often the case, the DVD and Blu Ray will include an exclusive minifigure, in this case, Batzarro!

And lastly, this past weekend’s DesignerCon 2014 saw some pretty impressive Lego recreations of some classic comic book covers, including Superman: Red Son, classic Marvel Star Wars, Swamp Thing, and many more. Check out the full gallery at the Comic Bricks! Flickr page.
