First casting announcements for AMC’s Walking Dead companion series!
Following September’s announcement of the details of the main characters in the upcoming Walking Dead companion series, Deadline have now revealed a few more details about the plot, including the first couple of casting announcements!
Deadline reports that the new series (aka ‘Cobalt’) will revolve around divorced teacher Sean Cabrera and Nancy Tompkins, a female guidance counsellor. Frank Dillane (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince) will play Nick, Nancy’s son, a young man who has battled a drug problem. Alycia Debnam Carey (Into the Storm) will play Ashley, her level-headed and ambitious daughter.
Adam Davidson will direct the pilot.
