Bandai to release Avengers: Age of Ultron S.H. Figuarts line

As io9 pointed out Bandai will release Iron Man (Mark 43) through their high end S.H. Figuarts line, with the rest of the  Avengers team from Age of Ultron team — minus Hawkeye, Widow or the Twins Maximoff — due to be released later in 2015.

This is not the first time that Bandai have released a version of Iron Man through the Figuarts line however, as Iron Man 2 seen the Japanese toy maker release both Iron Man’s Mark VI outfit as well the addition of Rhodey’s War Machine. This was proceeded of course by versions of the Mark 42 and Iron Patriot armors which were released around the time of Iron Man 3.

Interestingly this is the first time Bandai have made Figuarts based on the other Avengers, as the previous movie was licensed by rival toy maker Figma.

The specs for the Age of Ultron Iron Man are as Follows;

Size: Height approx. 155mm
Material: PVC, ABS, Diecast

[Set Contents]
-Main figure
-Optional hand parts x3 types, both sides
-Fist effect parts x2 types, both sides
-Leg effect parts (left, right)

As with most high end figures the Iron Man is priced at 6,264 Yen which is approximately £35/$52, though this is likely to exceeded by the prices of the other Avengers as Figuarts tend to price line extensions for more (as is the case with certain colored Sentai/Power Rangers and Kamen Riders). So it is possible if not probable that the future released Cap or Thor could come with a heftier price tag.

Pre-Orders are being taken by AmiAmi, however Figuarts are fairly available on Ebay, so either way you can easily grab a piece of the sweet sweet Bandai Avengers action.
