2000AD is now available on Android devices!
2000AD have unveiled a brand new Android app, available to download through the Google Play store, which will provide readers with even greater access to Progs, The Judge Dredd Megazine and the publisher’s impressive selection of classic Graphic Novels.
Plus, due to their new and improved log-in system, users who buy comics in the 2000 AD iPad and Android apps can now download copies of them, DRM-free, from the 2000 AD webshop.
On the subject of the announcement, Rebellion CEO Jason Kingsley said “Our iPad app has been a great success and proved there’s a big market out there for digital 2000 AD. The Android app has also been the ideal time to roll out the function that allows app users to download DRM-free copies of their purchases from our shop, so they’ll no longer have to choose between in-app or DRM-free comics again. This is the next leap forward for 2000 AD, which will introduce the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic to a whole new readership!”
If you’d like give it a test drive, you can download the new app for your Android device by going to www.2000ADonline.com/android (iPad and iPhone users can find the iOS app in the iTunes store.)
