New York Toy Fair: Our Sunday Picks!

Sunday at Toy Fair was all about nostalgia, it would seem! Here are some of our favourite reveals from Sunday, after scouring social media for tidbits, because we couldn’t go (*sob*).

1. CAPTAIN ACTION A.C.T.I.ON. LOCKER

Action Figure Insider got the scoop on this particular item, along with one lonely, unrevealing photograph. Why is it special? Just click here to take a look at what its based on, and tell us you wouldn’t want this. Admit it, your inner child is going “WAAAAAAHHHH!”.

2. MATTEL BATMAN CLASSIC TV SERIES

BIFF! PLOP! WHAM-ETH! Mattel are adding to their Batman Classic TV Series toys, including Batcave gadgets, and an oh-so-sweet Batmobile!

3. NECA 18 INCH FIGURES

Toy company NECA love their superheroes and old-skool sci fi, and their releases for 2015 continue to prove it. These figures are huge, impressive, and we NEED THAT PENGUIN FIGURE!!!

4. THIS SHAWN MICHAELS FIGURE FROM MATTEL

Just because its classic Heartbreak Kid, and brought back fond memories! The figure is from the Elite Flashback series of figures, and Mattel are also releasing Razor Ramon and Doink The Clown.

5. DIAMOND SELECT GHOSTBUSTERS

Diamond Select Toys are planning 12 Ghostbusters figures this year, each coming with extra parts to build the rooftop scene from the first movie. only two character were on display at Toy Fair, Ray Stanz and Winston Zeddemore.

6. REAL ACTION HERO – LEGENDS OF ZELDA LINK 12 INCH ACTION FIGURE

Yeaaah we LOVE this guy. A foot tall, and detail to die for. Zelda fans will be drooling.

7. THE WALKING DEAD MICHONNE 10 INCH DELUXE ACTION FIGURE

This upcoming figure from McFarlane Toys is one to look out for. The image below is just a concept model, with the figure not due until October,but if the previous 10 inch figures are anything to go by, this’ll be a must-have.
