Could it be time to sing the Doom Song again?

Oni Press dropped the hint below (with it promptly being retweeted by series creator Jhonen Vasquez) that yes, we may finally be seeing a comic book resurrection of the beloved animated series Invader Zim!

Originally airing from 2001 to 2002 on Nickelodeon, cult classic Invader Zim won a bevy of awards before being cancelled just prior to its finale. 

As per the tweet, it looks like we might be getting the official announcement for tomorrow, but in the meantime, the one and only Skottie Young has expressed his interest in the project!  Pinch of salt for the time being, obviously, but I guess we’ll find out one way or another tomorrow.

“Prepare your bladder for imminent release” indeed.
