Tonight in Glasgow is going to be something special, as Grant Morrison himself is performing a spoken-word piece in one of the city’s nightclubs.

The legendary Glaswegian writer will be making an appearance for the home crowd at Superliminal @ The Poetry Club, the offshoot of the SWG3 nightclub that was established by Turner Prize nominee Jim Lambie.

Superluminal will see Morrison sharing a stage with industrial overlords Je$us Loves Amerika, supported by DJ Priss and DJ Aeon Fox.

Morrison will be reading from his new work A Clockwork Wullie…

“The cry is ‘murder polis’ as the Glebe Street killer claims victim number one in a dystopian Scotland roamed by delinquent gangs of wee laddies. Grant Morrison reads Chapter 1 of a unique spoken word murder mystery with music by Je$us Loves Amerika.”
