Jurassic World managed to do the insurmountable and knock The Avengers off its perch as the movie with the highest opening weekend gross.
The Avengers managed to bag Marvel the highest weekend gross of a movie in 2013 with an opening of $207,438,708, but this was just about knocked off its top spot with Universal/Legendary’s sequel that came after a long period of gestation — The opening for which took in $208,806,270. Neither of these were touched by Avengers: Age of Ultron which currently sits in third place with an opening weekend of $191,271,109.
That is what was especially class of Kevin Feige taking to Twitter to post the following;
As studio head of Marvel which is currently Jurassic World’s main competition at the box office as Avengers: Age of Ultron is yet finish its theatrical run, he didn’t need to mention it.
Though their are a few ties between each namely the Colin Trevorrow directed Jurassic World starring Chris Pratt as the Tweet highlights additionally Universal is the distributor of any Hulk solo movie, so naturally best to be an ally. But it wasn’t like Feige had to post about it being the figurehead of Marvel Studios.
Regardless, looking at the picture he posted it does slightly make one want Devil Dinosaur to pop up as a Marvel flick.
