I could get all het up about the front cover of this book. Sexist, misogynistic, unrealistic… yeh, yeh, yeh. It’s hard to get annoyed about a comic book that’s nonsense. After all, vampires aren’t real, so why should the female form be?
To the story itself; Ash finds himself in the 1300s – Medieval Times, to you at home – and he gets very drunk at a feast, wants some “sugar”, finds Vampirella in the basement. That’s pretty much it. Only there’s annoying inconsistencies. Ash has a metal hand that saves him which he didn’t have when we see him first at the feast. There are two spelling variations of the word ‘gauge’ in the same speech bubble. I could go on…
An interesting idea in theory, but unfortunately, I missed the point. And I don’t mean Vamp’s teeth.
Rating: 1/5.
