The Flash casts its WALLY WEST for Season Two!

It has just been announced that Keiynan Lonsdale has been cast in the recurring role of Wally West in Season Two of CW’s The Flash.

Best known for his role as Uriah in the Divergent Series: Insurgent, Lonsdale “will be joining ‘The Flash’ this winter in the role of Wally West, an iconic character from The Flash Universe who became the speedster known as Kid Flash.”

In a statement released along with the announcement, the show’s Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg said “Just like when we met Grant [Gustin] for the first time, we instantly knew Keiynan embodied all the heart and courage of a hero. We are so excited to be bringing this much-beloved character onto the show.”

Lonsdale joins the previously-confirmed casting of the original Flash Jay Garrick – to be played by Teddy Sears – in the rapidly-growing speedster ranks.

Season Two of “The Flash” will debut Oct. 6 on The CW.
