New variant cover art released for Dark Knight III

Feast your eyes on these corking new covers for #DKIII courtesy of Jae Lee and Sean Murphy.

The covers are just the tip of the iceberg, with retailers having the opportunity to commission a cover specifically for their store. Just check out the list of names below; it’s like a who’s who of artists in the industry. The variants hit the shelves on November 25th, and we’re pretty excited to see what some of these great names bring to the table.


Official DC statement:

Frank Miller has inspired artists and storytellers in the industry for generations. Paying tribute to 1986’s BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS, Jae Lee designed Custom Retailer Variant cover art for Dynamic Forces (Dynamic Forces), and Sean Murphy designed Custom Retailer Variant cover art for Rebel Base Comics & Toys (Rebel Base Comics & Toys) in Charlotte, NC.
