According to The Hollywood Reporter, Amber Heard is in talks to play Mera opposite Jason Momoa in Warner Bros. upcoming Aquaman movie. 

While Aquaman will debut in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, Mera won’t make her first appearance in 2017’s Justice League, before starring in the solo Aquaman movie, slated for release on July 27th 2018.
