New CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR trailer gives us our first look at SPIDER-MAN!

Marvel’s marketing machine has been in full force this week releasing posters with the character lineup on their respective sides brining the tagline “divided we fall” to a head.

On ‪#‎Team‬ Cap are: Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) aka Ant-Man, Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) aka Falcon, Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) aka Hawkeye, Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) aka Scarlet Witch, Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) aka Captain America and Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) aka The Winter Solider.

They are pitted against ‪#‎TeamIronMan‬ comprised of: James Rhodes (Don Cheadle) aka War Machine, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) aka Iron Man, Paul Bettany as Vision, Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) aka Black Widow, and new comer T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) aka Black Panther.

This all leading up to the release of the second “Captain America: Civil War” trailer, which is here now!

Take a look – don’t worry, we’ll wait here.

Okay, we’re back.

So… the talking point for sure is Tom Holland’s debut as Spider-Man!

Iron Man calls upon the web slinger after running out of patience and refers to Spider-Man as “UNDEROOS!” Making his grand entrance, he strips Captain America of his signature shield and binding him in the process.

Earlier in the year, there was a leaked image of a Spider-Man hoodie that was said to be a part of the “Civil War” merchandising, which now proved to be true. Like the hoodie the new suit has segmented red long sleeves, but the final design has an additional segment between the shoulders and forearms. The smaller eye design is reminiscent of the classic television iteration of wall crawler. The thicker eye lines are similar to Alex Ross’ depictions.

The reveal comes days after Sony announced that pop-star Zendaya would join the Spider-Man reboot in a mysterious “key role” as well as plans for a Venom spinoff movie.

The teams seemed unbalanced six to five, so expect Marvel to release another one adding Peter Parker (Holland) Spider-Man to Iron Man’s roster.

The trailer does a great job establishing conflict within the team. It also gives a better glimpse of Cross Bones and his team of mercenaries, as well as Scarlet Witch bringing Vision to his knees and the iconic shot of Hawkeye launching Ant-Man on a trick arrow against Iron Man. However still not shown in the trailer are actors Daniel Bruhl and Martian Freeman, or the ever rumored Marisa Tomei as Aunt May.
Tell us what you thought of the trailer below.

Anthony & Joe Russo’s “Captain America: Civil War” hits theaters on May 6.
