With Batman day over, fans were left shouting “Bring me pictures of the Batman!” well, Zack Snyder met us all in the middle, with the first released picture of JK Simmons as Commissioner Gordon from the upcoming Justice League movie.

Nice atmospheric shot there, does anyone else get a screaming Batman: The Animated Series feel from it?

This comes just days after the image was released of Batman in “tactical” armour, tickling fans interest even more, with the obvious connections being made to Owlman and Niteowl (of Watchmen fame).

Safe to say we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for more releases, as the excitement builds for what seems to be the movie that’s finally going to put DC over in the Comic Film Race.
