New Poster and Motion Art Released for Marvel’s DEFENDERS

Ahead of its launch on Netflix this August, Marvel have released some new promotional material for their upcoming “Defenders” crossover show.

Featuring the stars of Marvel’s previous Netflix-exclusive titles – Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Danny Rand/Iron Fist (Finn Jones)  — coming together to project New York, the series hopes to capitalise on the strengths of its predecessors while avoiding the pacing and structural pitfalls that have plagued the likes of Luke Cage and Iron Fist.

Sigourney Weaver co-stars as Alexandra, along with Elodie Yung (Elektra), Scott Glenn (Stick), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Carrie-Anne Moss (Jeri Hogarth), Rachael Taylor (Trish Walker), Eka Darville (Malcolm Ducasse), Simone Missick (Misty Knight) and Jessica Henwick (Colleen Wing).
