Concept Art Released Featuring Unused Suits for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man
[Warning: Spoilers ahead for Spider-Man: Homecoming]
Thanks to the promo videos, interviews and set photos, we know Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will return in Avengers: Infinity War, which is looking set have the most superheroes in one movie to date.
Spider-Man: Homecoming showed audiences a few of Spidey’s suits: The suit given to Peter Parker (Holland) by Tony Stark (Robert Downy Jr.) in Captain America: Civil War, his homemade “onesie” and a brief glimpse of the Iron Spider Armor.
Well, Concept Artist Ryan Meinerding recently released some unused concept art on his Twitter account (@meinerding), which fans will instantly recognize from other popular Spider-Man tales.
The first being Superior Spider-Man. This suit was worn by Doctor Octopus after he killed Peter Parker and took over his body. The other is – my personal favorite – based on Ben Reilly’s hoodie wearing Scarlett Spider.
Check out the images below:
It remains to be seen whether or not these suits will show up in Avengers: Infinity War or future films. But, given Stark’s habit of tinkering, Spider-Man could end up with as many suits as Iron Man.
Tell us in the comments what you think of these unused costume ideas. Which Spider-Man suit is your favorite?
