Things Get Epic in the First Trailer For GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS [SDCC18]
The Godzilla: King of Monsters trailer has been finally been unleashed on the world.
The trailer strikes an odd balance of awe and wonder with a swelling orchestral score behind the world ending visual effects. It’s a departure from the original trailer for Godzilla (2014) which was had an ominous tone.
Dr. Emma Russell (Vera Farmiga) leads Monarch on an expedition to find the titans Mothra, Ghidorah, Rodan and Godzilla as a means of preventing the end of the world.
Ken Watanabe returns as Dr. Ishiro Serizawa with Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things) as Madision Russell. The cast also includes Sally Hawkins (The Shape of Water), Kyle Chandler (Argo), Charles Dance (Game of Thrones), Bradley Whitford (Get Out), Ziyi Zhang (Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon) and Thomas Middleditch (Silicon Valley).
Godzilla King of Monsters is scheduled to hit theaters on May 13, 2019.
