Hoult and Pattison frontrunners to play lead in Matt Reeves’ The Batman

Deadline are reporting that Robert Pattison and Nicholas Hoult are the frontrunners to play the starring role in Matt Reeves’ The Batman.

A previous report declared that Twilight Saga star Pattison already had the role sewn up, but Reeves and Warner Bros have confirmed that a final decision is yet to be made.

The shortlist does seem to bear out Reeves’ intention to cast a Batman in his early 30s, and no date has been confirmed yet for the film’s official release.
