The Penned Guin: Burnout brings fresh gags, puns and quick wit to Kickstarter

BURNOUT, the sixteenth(!) book released in Scottish cartoonist Alan Henderson’s PENNED GUIN series, is currently funding on Kickstarter (CLICK HERE) until the 10th of April 2021.

And while the campaign has already hit around 270% of its goal (and counting) in just the first few days, there’s still plenty of time to grab yourself a copy, along with some other sweet, sweet rewards.

This new book pulls together over 180 of his daily comic strips which were posted online through late 2020/early 2021, none of which have appeared in print before, and is released in the familiar A5 landscape format that fans have come to know and love.

Backers can pick themselves up a copy of the 100 page release for just £7, with add-ons like original artwork, magnets, t-shirts and previous releases available at higher tiers.

We’re huge fans of Alan and his distinctive style, which we’ve previously described as “a relentless machine gun of gags and puns”, here at the Big Comic Page, so any excuse to feast our eyes on some new Penned Guin goodness is a-okay with us.  We’ll definitely be backing this one, and we highly recommend you do the same.
