Ms Marvel’s Disney+ debut has been delayed
As reported by Variety, Marvel have confirmed that its upcoming Disney+ MS. MARVEL series has been delayed until some time in 2022 following a number of previously unexpected 2021 premiers on the streaming platform.
The series – which will star Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, Marvel’s first Muslim lead character – was originally expected to air later this year. No exact date for its 2022 premier has been confirmed yet.
Vellani is also set to appear alongside Brie Larson on the big screen in THE MARVELS, the sequel to the $1.1 billion grossing Captain Marvel, which is currently set to hit cinemas on November 11th 2022.
THE MARVELS, which also stars WandaVision’s Teyonah Parris as the adult Monica Rambeau, will be directed by Nia DaCosta (“Candyman.”)
