MCM London 2022 Hasbro Announcements – Holiday Optimus Prime and More!

As part of their panel at last weekend’s MCM London Comic Con at the ExCel in London, Hasbro revealed a batch of exciting new upcoming releases.

Firstly, we had a pair of Transformers announcements in the form of a Christmas-inspired Transformers Generations Holiday Optimus Prime, and a Generations Selects Deluxe Magnificus figure.  Then we had our first look at a couple of fairly cool looking Marvel Legends figures in the form of Ultimate Captain America and an Extremis Iron Man.

You can feast your eyes on some official images and info below, and all four of these new figures will be available to preorder on 8th November at Hasbro Pulse UK.


Transformers Generations Holiday Optimus Prime

(Ages 8 and Up | Approx. Retail Price: £53.99 | Available: December 2022)

 

‘Tis the season as Hasbro introduces the all-new Transformers Generations Holiday Optimus Prime action figure, featuring holiday-inspired deco and details, including a Santa Claus Autobot faction logo on the trailer. Holiday Optimus Prime converts from robot to licensed Volvo truck mode in 37 steps and features green-tinted windows and snowy deco details.

The figure comes with multiple accessories, including a candy cane ion blaster, the Matrix of Holiday Spirit and a truck trailer that can attach in truck mode that opens to become a battle station. Naughty or nice, Transformers Generations Holiday Optimus Prime is Available to pre-order from 5PM GMT on 8th November at Hasbro Pulse UK and additional fan channel retailers, just in time to deliver holiday cheer to all sentient beings.


Transformers Generations Selects Deluxe Magnificus

(Ages 8 and Up | Approx. Retail Price: £26.99 | Available: January 2023)

 The Transformers Generations Selects is a fan-dedicated line of figures featuring special edition characters, including the new Transformers Generations Selects Deluxe Magnificus action figure. Like all Transformers Generations Selects, Magnificus can’t be found in the main Transformers Generations toy line.

This new figure is based on the original e-Hobby exclusive Magnificus action figure released in 2005 and can convert from robot to microscope mode in 18 steps, while also including a blaster accessory that can attach in both modes. . The Transformers Generations Selects Deluxe Magnificus is available to pre-order from 5PM GMT on 8th November at Hasbro Pulse UK.


Marvel Legends Series: Ultimate Captain America Figure

(HASBRO/Ages 4 years & up/Approx. Retail Price: £26.99 / Available: Spring 2023)

The Captain America of the Ultimate Universe has served as the Allies’ super-soldier in World War II, the leader of the first Ultimates team.

Bring the excitement and wonder of the Marvel Universe to your collection with action figures from the Hasbro Marvel Legends Series!
