Despite the ongoing controversy surrounding its star Ezra Miller, DC’s The Flash is still very much going ahead, and Warner Bros have just dropped the first trailer for the upcoming movie, set to hit cinemas on 16th June 2023.

There’s certainly a lot going on here, with Barry Allen unleashing some Flashpoint-esque consequences by trying to travel back in time to prevent his mother’s murder, and the expected return of Michael Keaton’s 1989 Batman naturally taking center stage.

Considering all the recent announcements from James Gunn and Peter Safran about their new ‘Gods and Monsters’ slate, it’s going to be interesting to see how, if at all, this ties into what’s coming next, but given the schedules it’s unlikely we‘ll get anything other than a post-credit scene at the absolute most here.
