Dark Horse and Mattel to publish The Art of Masters of the Universe: Origins and Masterverse.
This December, Dark Horse Books are continuing their incredibly productive partnership with Mattel by publishing The Art of Masters of the Universe: Origins and Masterverse.
Written by Alex Irvine (The Comic Book Story of Baseball, Marvel Phase One through Phase Three), this volume promises to provide a deep dive into the lore and world of the Mattel hit figure lines, Masters of the Universe: Origins and Masterverse.
During the course of the 192 page hardcover collection, Irvine will explore each figure’s background, as well as showcasing detailed artwork from the products themselves. The volume will also feature new insights from the creators of the figures.
Not only that, but MOTU fans will have the option to pick up a Deluxe Edition of the book, which will include a portfolio of artwork and two lithograph prints, all housed in a hardcover slipcase together with the art book (promotional picture below.)
The Art of Masters of the Universe: Origins and Masterverse HC and Deluxe Edition will be in bookstores December 5, 2023 and in comic shops December 6, 2023. Pre-order links are below:
