Ceej Says… Comic of the Week (18th September 2013)
There was a lot of great stuff hitting the shelves this week, with Villain’s Month rapidly turning into a bit of a success story as the cracking comics keep flooding in on a weekly basis. I was also treated to a double dose of Infinity awesomeness, and a terrific story from my favourite title of…

Review – The Other Dead #1 (Of 5) (IDW Publishing)
Writers: Joshua Ortega & Digger T. Mesch Artist: Qing Ping Mui This hotly-anticipated horror series manages to bring a fresh approach to the well-established – if a little overexposed – zombie genre. From talented creators Kevin Eastman (TMNT), Joshua Ortega (Gears of War) and Digger T. Mesch (Agent 88), The Other Dead transfers the zombie…

REVIEW – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #26 (IDW Publishing)
Writers: Tom Waltz, Kevin Eastman Artist: Mateus Santolouco This series has been consistently good from the start and continues to deliver the goods with each issue. Review – Miss Fury #6 (Dynamite)
Writer: Jackson Herbert Artist: Rob Williams My first impressions of this book is I would say get some background before picking this up if you aren’t acquainted. It is not a good jumping on point in any way but that is somewhat understandable since it is six issues in and the bookend of an arc.…

Review – Lone Ranger Annual 2013 (Dynamite Entertainment)
Writer: Shannon Eric Denton Artist: Matt Triano As a self-contained Western story, this book certainly ticked a lot of boxes. We have an iconic hero, dramatic shootouts, a tale of the blurred line between justice and vengeance, and a dramatic showdown to cap it all off. What more could you ask for? The only thing…
