There’s not really much to say in regards to reviewing this particular book. It was a very quick read, filled with humor I think Battlestar fans young and old could appreciate. I myself am not an avid Battlestar watcher but I could tell that writer/artist Art Baltazar is a true fan, and has a love for the story.

Seems like this book is mainly a breakdown of what the storyline of the series is about, the war with Cylons and the search for Earth. The main characters are shown as children getting into all types of mischief on the “Galactica” when they discover that there are Cylons aboard.  The story is a fun read, as if Mr. Baltazar is telling the story from a child fan’s standpoint. Which I’m guessing would be He himself as a child having a love for the show. The dialogue goes along with that concept and is campy and a little cheesy but it definitely fits the tone of the storytelling. All in all it was a really quick fun read. And for all Battlestar fans this “lil” One-Shot would be a nice edition to your Battlsetar Collection.

My rating for this comic is bases solely on the how it would be for true fans of the show. As for myself I’m not a fan so a personal rating would be low and not do this book any justice to a fan. So I give this a 6-10, it’s entertaining and I think any true fan will enjoy it.

Rating: 6/10.
