In the latest news out of DC’s thriving animation department, it looks like we’re going to be treated to a new feature-length movie set in the world of the Arkham video game series. Oh, and if you needed more convincing, the legendary Kevin Conroy will be lending his voice to the man himself.

Batman: Assault on Arkham will, interestingly, see Batman joined by Task Force X (the “Suicide Squad” to you at home) in his attempts to prevent the Joker from detonating a dirty bomb.

No details of a release date just yet, but if I were a betting man, I’d hazard a guess that it may drop as close as possible to the new ‘Arkham Knight’ next-gen video game this October.
