Release Date: 17th September 2014

Keeping this one short, purely because not much actually needs to be said at this point, other than how fabulous this series is becoming.

As a contrast to how the past few issues have been, this time the pace is a little slower as we delve deeper into the world of the gods and finally get some payoff with a few answers. The slower pace gives the wonder team of Gillan and Mckelvie the space to really flex, and the book shines as a result. In a dialogue-heavy issue, Gillan’s writing is superb and just seems to be so relaxed in itself. Its like a really nice glass of red wine; bold, dark, complex and just a hint of fruitiness.

In contrast to that, Mckelvie’s art this time round is much more like that sweet spot between drunk and getting found in a puddle of whiskey and other people’s underwear. Its expressive, beautiful, colourful and full of little quirks that the duo are known for, and their love for the series Bursts off the page.

This is one that fans will love and new readers will be confused with.  But hey… who starts a series at , right?
