Madius Comics launch their Paperbacks & Inkstains Kickstarter!

After a brief delay, those fine fellows at Madius Comics have just launched the Kickstarter for their eagerly anticipated Paperbacks & Inkstains collection!

The Kickstarter will be funding a collected volume of the entire run of their critically-acclaimed Papercuts & Inkstains anthology series, featuring over 200 pages of content.  But that’s not all, as the collection will see the original black and white strips get the full-colour treatment courtesy of the hard work of the following talented folks;

  • Nick Gonzo
  • Angela Sprecher
  • Rosie Packwood
  • Rory Donald
  • Darren Smith
  • Jim Lavery
  • Bob Turner

The collection features stories primarily written by the “Sambrones” partnership of Rob Jones and Mike Sambrook, along with contributions from Nick Gonzo, and features pretty much every genre imaginable, from westerns, sci fi and horror right through to fantasy, nostalgia and everything in between.

We’ve been huge fans and supporters of the Madius crew since their first release, and can honestly say that this might be their most exciting project yet, and should be considered a pretty much essential purchase if you put any kind of stock in the opinion of Team BCP at all.

There are all manner of rewards available for backing, from digital and physical copies of the book to T-shirts, commissions and gorgeous painted art, so make sure to check out the Kickstarter by CLICKING HERE before it finishes on 13th of April.

Oh, and if you need further convincing about just how lovely it’s all going to look, here’s a side-by-side comparison of a page from Cast Adrift, with artwork from the supremely talented Rory Donald (Griff Gristle).
