Win Three Months of Free Independent Comics Courtesy of COMICHAUS
To celebrate the announcement of the 2018 Scottish Independent Comic Book Alliance (SICBA) Award shortlist, we’re giving five lucky winners the opportunity to gorge themselves on small press and independently published comics courtesy of a three-month FREE subscription for Comichaus, the “Netflix of comics”.
For those who aren’t aware, Comichaus is an app through which publishers and creators can submit their comics, receiving a payment based on how often their submissions are read. CLICK HERE to find out more about how it all works.
The quality of titles on there already is staggering, with a plethora of self-published talent alongside offerings from some of the bigger US publishers like IDW and Dynamite Entertainment.
We’ve always been big on championing small press talent, and in the spirit of the SICBA Awards – an event set up by BHP Comics head honcho Sha Nazir to help promote the growing number of comic creators in Scotland – the opportunity to get so many self-published books for a monthly fee of just £3 (£5 for a “no ads” version) is one we simply can’t recommend highly enough.
That said, even though the subscription price is incredibly low for what you get, you still want those sweet, sweet comics for FREE, right?
Well, if you want to be in with a chance of snagging one of the five three-month passes, here’s all you need to do:
HOW TO WIN:
– Enter your name and email address into the form below.
– Wait until the night of Saturday 30th of June (the night of the SICBA Award Ceremony at Glasgow Comic Con) for the five winners to be randomly selected. If you’re a winner, you’ll be informed via email shortly after!
Couldn’t be simpler!
Hopefully we’ll see a lot of you at Glasgow Comic Con on the 30th of June at the Royal Concert Hall (tickets available HERE), and in the evening at 8pm for the SICBA Award Ceremony (tickets available HERE).
