Alfred Molina set to Reprise Doctor Octopus Role in Spider-Man 3
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Alfred Molina is the latest returning villain in Marvel/Sony’s as-yet-untitled third Spider-man Movie, reprising his incredibly well-received role as Doctor Octopus.
Molina, who played Otto Octavius in 2004’s Spider-Man 2, will be joined by Jamie Foxx, who played Electro in 2014’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2, in a move which brings three generations of Spider-Man movies together.
Tom Holland will return as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the film, which Sony has tentatively scheduled for a December 2021 release, with Benedict Cumberbatch also appearing in the film as Doctor Strange.
We’re keeping our fingers crossed for Thomas Haden Church’s return as Sandman, but this latest piece of news has definitely piqued out interest in the movie.
