IDW continues their Dark Spaces Anthology Series this May with “Good Deeds” from Che Grayson & Kelsey Ramsay

This May, IDW Publishing are continuing their ‘Dark Spaces’ anthology series with Good Deeds, a brand new story from filmmaker and author Che Grayson, artist Kelsey Ramsay and colourist Ronda Pattison.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Dark Spaces: Good Deeds follows a mother, Rebecca, and her teenage daughter Cheyenne after they move to the historic town of St. Augustine, Florida. Cheyenne finds it hard to make friends in the towns’ close-knit community where outsiders feel unwelcome. As members of the town begin to die mysteriously one by one, Cheyenne and Rebecca find themselves in the middle of a 200-year-old secret that’s slowly unveiling itself.

For those of you unfamiliar with the project, and who missed Dark Spaces: Wildfire (which featured in our ‘Best Comics of 2022’), each entry in the Dark Spaces series is a fully contained, character-driven, standalone story featuring a different up-and-coming artist and promising young writer handpicked by Scott Snyder.

The first issue of the six-part series will hit shelves on the 17th of May 2023, and we’ll have an advance review for you nearer the time. In the meantime, you can feast your eyes on some ink-and-colour artwork process pages from Ramsay which will hopefully give you a little flavour about what to expect next month.
