How awesome are Bandai’s S.H.Figuarts Batman and Joker action figures?
The short answer… very [awesome]!
Due for release this November, Bandai are releasing Injustice versions of both The Joker and Batman, currently retailers who typically sell figuarts are taking pre-orders for the pieces.
Personally I am not the biggest fan of Injustice–the game, the story line nor previous toy lines from it. But knowing they are being released through the S.H. Figuarts line by Bandai, I have to say my interest is peaked.
Often overlooked in the high end action figure market–Bandai’s Figuarts have usually kept within the boundaries of what is popular within the companies native country of Japan producing ultra pose-able figures based on Tokusatsu, anime and video game characters, though they did produce a run of Iron Man 2 figures (an Iron Man and a War Machine), their appeal hasn’t been as widespread as say Hot Toys.
But since I may have invested in some S.H. Figuarts previously, I can say they detail is insane and per the price works out at reasonable valued.
They previously set the bar high with their line in Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Power Rangers and Mario action figure sets… Do not miss out!
Expect to pay around $80/£50 for these, Check them out…
