PREACHER Has Release Date and Poster!

That’s right folks, after the set pictures we shared with you a few weeks ago, not much has been heard from Camp Rogen recently. That all changed today though, when we were double stuffed with presents!

Preacher will be airing on AMC in May 2016, Executive Producer Rogen said today. AMC also released the first poster for the series, which looks suspiciously like a certain parish that isn’t going to be lasting too long into the series.

Surely we all know the rough story by now, right? Jesse Custer (played by Dominic Cooper) is imbued with the “Word of God”, and travels across the globe to try and get answers from God Himself, for the wrongdoings he’s done by abandoning the Human Race. Along the way, he’s joined by his ex-girlfriend Tulip (Ruth Negga) and a Vampire called Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun). The Garth Ennis/Steve Dillon series is often praised as one of the best Comic Series/Stories of all time, and it’ll sure be intersting to see if Rogen and Showrunner Sam Catlin can pull it off.
