Meg Foster joins the voice cast of Kevin Smith’s Masters of the Universe: Revolution

It has just been announced that live action He-Man veteran Meg Foster has been added to the voice cast of Masters of the Universe: Revolution, the animated sequel to Kevin Smith’s Masters of the Universe: Revelation, which aired on Netflix back in 2021.

Foster will provide the voice of Motherboard, “an ancient sorceress of technology in the fight for the soul of Eternia” in the new show, which effectively serves as the second season of Revelation.

As those who watched Revelation will know, Motherboard was the technological deity which was worshipped by Tri-Klops, Trap Jaw and others as part of their cult, before appearing to “assimilate” Skeletor at the end of the series and displaying the logo of the Evil Horde.

Foster also previously played Evil-Lyn in the much-maligned live action Masters of the Universe movie back in 1987, and has become something of a fan favourite for MOTU fans over the years due to her friendly, welcoming nature at convebtions, etc.

No release date other than “2024” has been confirmed for the new series yet, but expect more information to come as production continues to ramp up.
