Roll & Play Press have just launched the eagerly-awaited Kickstarter for One-Shot Wonders 2, the follow-up to their multi-award-winning book of DnD adventures designed to help out DMs looking to throw something together at the last minute or struggling with inspiration for an upcoming session.
The new volume contains 100 all-new one-shot adventures spanning a variety of different terrains, from artic tundra to perilous desert, and have been tweaked to accommodate the 2024 D&D rule changes. They feature a variety of different difficulty levels and themes (Adventurous, Spooky, Light-Hearted etc.), and as a fledgling DM myself, I can absolutely vouch for how well-written and gosh darn useful they are (well, if Volume 1 is anything to go by, anyway!)
“Survive an arcane blizzard in the Arctic; sail with a djinni smuggling crew on the Coast; win a camel jousting tournament in the Desert; fight off werebears at an elven Forest campsite; look for sabotage in a caved-in Underground mine; tame air elementals in the Mountains; explore a mimic-infested Urban tavern; and so much more!”
A variety of tiers are available, from digital-only copies to massive packages including volume 1 and the stupendously awesome Map Library (look for a review on that in the next few days after I managed to get a copy for myself from the team at last weekend’s Tabletop Scotland event in Edinburgh). There’s also a special collector’s edition cover you can choose, as well as a Map Library expansion with 30 more maps to add to your collection and (gasp) reusable stickers!
Not only that, but early backers to the campaign get a special free gift:
The campaign (CLICK HERE), which has clocked up over £47k in a little under an hour so far(!) will run until the 9th of October, so there’s plenty of time to check it out and decide what tier you’d like to back (but don’t leave it too late, eh?)
In the meantime, if you fancy checking out Roll & Play press and seeing what else they have on offer (including the awesome Game Master’s Fantasy Toolkit which we reviewed back in February), you can checkout everything they have to offer on their online store. And as an extra bonus (because we love you guys so much), you can bag an extra 10% off your order by either using the code GUILDLPVPUVOBED when checking out or using THIS LINK. Who says we’re not good to you?
