Geeking Out – Mayday! Mayday! Unleash the Secret Weapon!

So first and foremost, it’s confession time.  We’re slightly behind here at Geek Towers, which means no Knight Models team interview just yet. But what we do have the result of our “Arkham April” contest to win an Arkham Knight BMG Campaign Book and an AK Sniper miniature!

But before you scroll down in a fit of tl;dr, why not stick around and check out our review – and next giveaway – of some Secret Weapon urban scenics?

Secret Weapon do an array of excellent goodies – you may remember we looked at their very BMG-friendly bases previously – but their resin scenic elements are a cut above the rest. Whilst a number of companies make great MDF pieces, sometimes you can’t beat the detail of resin – and the fact that no assembly is required is a major plus. So as a wee taster, we’ve had a look at their Jersey Barriers (you know, concrete central reservation barriers and the like).

Easy to clean, crisp details and no mess, and available undamaged or wrecked (particularly good for The Walking Dead), these are a great addition to any board.

Don’t believe us? Well, you can win a set of the undamaged ones right here, right now (well, ish!) in the usual way (see below)

Not only that, but we’ve also got some sprues of these little beauties to give away:

With 10 shell casings to a sprue, a great detailing touch to your bases. We’ll be giving a couple of these away to our favourite comments we get here and on the old book of Face. What more could you want?

Till next time – we’ve got more great contests and giveaways coming up in May, along with our (belated) interview with the Knight Models team!

Oh, you want to know the winner? Yup, that. The winner of “Arkham April”, grabbing themselves an Arkham Knight BMG Campaign Book and an AK Sniper miniature is… Nick Webb! Congratulations Nick! Get in touch this month to claim your prize!
